This collection will bring to life a chromatically diverse selection of nostalgic colorways, from nightmarish neons to suspiciously sleepy fall tones, all inspired by my favorite 80s horror and spooky movies.

Small Batch Hand-dyed Yarn from Portland, Oregon

Thanks for visiting my shop! This is a place filled with yarn that's both wonderful and strangeā€¦

I take a unique approach to dyeing yarn, by channelling inspiration from my favorite horror movies into colorways that depict the various chilling, enchanting, and dazzling scenes that have pierced my heart.

To properly convey those captivating moments and striking color pallets, I put a lot of love, care, and attention into each and every skein of yarn that I dye, all done by hand, in very small batches.

My collections range from desaturated, nostalgic Halloween classics, to the vibrant hues of giallo films (an Italian horror genre)ā€” and even peaceful summer meadows (where a murder just happened to take place!). I have a ton of fun making colorways unique and memorable by reimagining the on-screen visuals, that have inspired me, through the lens of my own eye.

While the theme of horror movies is certainly a fun way for me to connect with fellow fiber enthusiasts who also happen to be fans of the movie genre, I aim to make my colorways appealing and desirable for even those who havenā€™t seen the movies whose colors Iā€™m inspired by.

Whether youā€™re here for the collision of fiber arts and cinema, or just want to infuse your next project with some novel and inspired colors, Iā€™m happy youā€™re here!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy knitting/chocheting/creating!
