DAVID LYNCH

FOREVER

Small batch hand-dyed yarn from Portland, Oregon

Inspired by horror movies, mysterious media, and the beautifully bizarre

Conjuring thrills and chills through eerily cinematic colorways on unique wool and plant bases

  • Savannah Rose Handmade & Co is where a love of horror movies and spooky TV shows comes together with fiber arts. Every skein captures the mood and atmosphere of scary cinema and mysterious moments in visual media, and is lovingly hand-dyed by me, Savannah, and my partner, Colin, in our pet-free, smoke-free, little magic studio in Portland, Oregon. 🌲🦉‍ ‍

  • Whether you’re into cozy gothic vibes, modern horror flair, or just want cool and interesting colors for your project, welcome!

We dye yarn inspired by scary films, cult classics, and all things eerie and beautiful. Each colorway captures the mood and atmosphere scary cinema…

From striking final girls, like our “May Queen” and “Pearl” colorways, to creepy settings, including our “Douglas Firs” colorway from our Twin Peaks and David Lynch collections, to neon-lit nightmares, like “Activator” from our The Substance collection, and blood-streaked clothing in our “Companion” inspired colorway, we conjure the most moving, striking, and unsettling moments in our favorite visual media.

We’re always crafting up new colorways in our cauldron and are happy you’re here to peruse our spooky skeins!

  • While the theme of horror movies is certainly a fun way for us to connect with fellow fiber enthusiasts who also happen to be fans of the horror movie genre, we aim to make our colorways appealing and desirable for even those who haven’t seen the films whose colors we’re inspired by, or may not even be fond of the genre.

So whether you’re here for the collision of fiber arts and cinema, or just want to infuse your next project with some novel and inspired colors that move you, you’ve come to the right place!

    🧶👻

  • We mainly do seasonal, exclusive collection preorders themed off of specific films, our favorite directors, or nostalgic spooky vibes.

We aren’t able to offer in-stock yarn at all times, due to inventory, but we do occasionally have in-stock updates that most often happen towards the end of a collection’s fulfillment period.

To stay in the loop, we recommend signing up for our email list at the bottom of this page.

  • As with all small-batch dyeing, there may be slight color variation, however we take the following steps to achieve the best possible consistency; all matching skeins within each order are:

    • Dyed on the same dyeing day

    • Crafted by the same dyer (either Savannah or Colin, depending on the colorway)

    • In the same or adjacent batches

    • Made with yarn from the same lot number

    • Dyed with dyes from the same lot number

    • Hand-matched after dyeing

  • We currently offer shipping to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, and Australia. These are the countries whose customs process we are most confident in our ability to navigate on our own.

If your country isn’t listed, we recommend using a proxy shipping service that’s optimized for your country. We love and welcome our international customers, and these are the most consistent and reliable methods we currently have to get your yarn into your hands.
