This absolute classic is one of the faces of 1980s horror. Tobe Hooper's 1982 “Poltergeist” follows the story of an average Californian family, the Freelings, as they begin to experience strange, creepy, and paranormal happenings in their home. One evening, the youngest daughter, five-year-old Carol Ann (RIP sweet Heather O’Rourke), awakens and is drawn toward the television screen, where she seemingly begins to communicate with ghostly entities on the other side. While these otherworldly occurrences starts off as friendly and playful, they quickly turn to menacing when Carol Ann goes missing after a terrifying ordeal one night. Her parents become desperate and turn to a parapsychologist (hey, remember this term from Ghostbusters?), and eventually an exorcist to help find their daughter and get to the bottom of what is happening to their family and home.

All yarn is gently washed and rinsed. Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed, which makes them all unique, even in the same dye lot. Please be mindful that upon first wash, a little dye may bleed. Even though many of these bases are superwash merino wool, I still recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your yarn/garments!

I have done my best to accurately capture the colors of the skein, however, colors may vary slightly.

🐑 Bluefaced Leicester a special breed of English sheep with wool that is strong, resists pilling, and dyes beautifully. Drier and somewhat coarser feeling than superwash merino, with a more structured drape. Great for projects that could use some extra resilience and radiance.
