Homage to Halloween
This colorway is an homage to all the bright, sweet-like-candy joy that Halloween brought me as a kid growing up in the 1990s. Warm, faded orange, with peppy pops of greenish-blue and pink, reminiscent of emptying your candy pale after trick-or-treating and remembering how sweet the treats tasted as a kid. You worked hard for that candy!

All yarn is gently washed and rinsed. Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed, which makes them all unique, even in the same dye lot. Please be mindful that upon first wash, a little dye may bleed. I recommend hand washing.
Please note that each yarn presented has two photos, the first being a close-up and the second being a more zoomed out photo featuring my handmade stitch markers and some seasonal props; keep an eye out for both pics just so you can get a more detailed idea!

(1992) Ever since I was born, in the year 1992, I’ve had Halloween flowing through my veins.
No matter what hardships or difficult times my family and I went through while growing up, Halloween was always that one time of year when things felt lighthearted and carefree.
I feel so grateful to have been a kid in the ‘90s; to have the memories of growing up in a neighborhood with old historical houses where the owners would deck their yards out to look like cemeteries, or blast the “Goosebumps” theme song on stereo speakers to lure kids in to trick-or-treat.
I feel so grateful to have a mom who sewed our costumes up each year; I remember going to Joann Fabrics and my sister Sydney and I would pick out what costumes we would want to be from a stack of sewing pattern kits (they looked so vintage!), then my mom would buy the fabric and make them up for us. What a slow-moving, homemade, wonderful time it was to be a kid.
