Part of what makes the film “Midsommar” so eerily memorable is just how long and luminous the days are during summer in the Central Sweden province of Hälsingland. The sun is high in the sky at 9pm and it never gets fully dark at the night.

The bright, vivid skies, and the disorientation they cast on the passage of time, are an emblem of the emotional dissonance between the film’s chromatic levity and its macabre developments. Like a song with uplifting musical accompaniment, but heart wrenching lyrics, the plot twists down dark alleyways, laid bare in glinting sunlight of Midsommar.

All yarn is gently washed and rinsed. Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed, which makes them all unique, even in the same dye lot. Please be mindful that upon first wash, a little dye may bleed. Even though many of these bases are superwash merino wool, I still recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your yarn/garments!

I have done my best to accurately capture the colors of the skein, however, colors may vary slightly.

Turnaround time is 3-6ish weeks after preorder ends

Please note that the fluffy yarn pictured in the photo here is a 100% alpaca yarn that I previously offered. My Sarah Suri Silk base is the most similar to this pictured yarn!
