Neon Lust
A vibrant, resonant pink with splashes of electric marigold
My new mini yarn collection is inspired by the 2016 hypnotic thriller “Neon Demon.” Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (the same guy who made “Drive”), “Neon Demon” stars Elle Fanning and Jena Malone and follows Jesse, a 16-year-old runaway with dreams of using her natural beauty to become a model in LA.
“I can't sing, I can't dance, I can't write...no real talent. But I'm pretty, and I can make money off pretty.”
With this collection and the titles of each colorway, I’m playing around with some of the main themes in this film, as well as some of the elements that actually create neon light; “neon” being one of the elements itself.
This colorway is inspired by the LUST Jesse feels to be recognized and famous, while the modeling peers around her end up LUSTING after her and what she has: pure, natural, unaltered beauty.

All yarn is gently washed and rinsed. Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed, which makes them all unique, even in the same dye lot.
I have done my best to accurately capture the colors of the skein, however, colors may vary slightly.
