All yarn is gently washed and rinsed. Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed, which makes them all unique, even in the same dye lot. Please be mindful that upon first wash, a little dye may bleed. Even though many of these bases are superwash merino wool, I still recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your yarn/garments!

Colorway synopsis:
One of two matriarchs of the dance academy is Madame Blanc (the other being Helena Markos herself). While Markos has no empathy or care for any of the dancers, Madame Blanc, while reserved in her ways, enjoys being a teacher, instructor, and mother figure. One special thing about Madame Blanc in the 2018 “Suspiria” version is who plays her: Tilda Swinton. However, Tilda Swinton doesn’t just play Madame Blanc, she also plays Helena Markos *and* Dr. Jozef Klemperer - the psychotherapist that helps Sara uncover the coven’s secrets. Yes, three characters! While Madame Blanc may be considerate towards her dance troupe, she is a fierce and intense woman, who, underneath it all, essentially is seeking to find a dancer to replace Helena Markos’ wasting away body, thus making Madame Blanc quite villainous! This cloudy teal colorway is dedicated to her: a character that throughout the whole movie, rides the line between good and bad, motherly and indifferent, likable and perplexing, in such a murky and appealing way.
