And then there is one and only The Log Lady, also known in the show as Margaret Lanterman. She is probably the most quizzical, ubiquitous, and most recognizable character in the show, with her warm brown sweaters, red-rimmed glasses, and of course her famous log. She claims that her log, which she carries like a baby, has agency, and is able to predict events that will happen.

“Come on then. My log does not judge.”

With The Log Lady, I wanted to create a colorway that commemorates not just her style, but her aura. Warm tonal browns with mild pops of Fir green and blended rosy reds to reflect her omnipresence. She is there at every moment, gently gracing Twin Peaks with herself and her log’s puzzling premonitions.
