↑ A collection of photos of my family and I when we went to North Bend and got to see David Lynch directing a scene at the Fat Trout Trailer Park in Season 3 of “Twin Peaks: The Return.” We also visited all the filming locations including the Twin Peaks Sheriffs Station with Lucy’s desk, Ronette’s Bridge, and of course Twedes, aka: The Double R Diner. #bestdayever
To me, “Twin Peaks” is more than just a favorite cult classic TV show.
I grew up with my parents telling me about “Twin Peaks” viewing parties they had in the 90s; when my dad would dress up as Killer Bob and my mom pretended to be Nadine, wearing an eye mask and pretending to complain about silent drape runners.
When I started watching “Twin Peaks” on my own in my early 20s, it quickly became close to home for me. Not just because North Bend (where they filmed most of “Twin Peaks”) is only an hour and a half from my hometown, but because I love my parents’ backstory, and all the original, quirky characters, and the colors and themes and music. It’s a hauntingly soapy show that sticks with you.
In 2017 when I heard David Lynch and his cast and crew came back to North Bend to film “The Return” (the 25 years later season 3 of “Twin Peaks”) I convinced my family to venture down to see if we could see them filming — and boy did we ever! See photos above. You might also notice Harry Dean Stanton in one of the photos as he’s walking next to David Lynch himself. ❤️
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this first yarn collection of mine, filled with colorways both wonderful and strange. This show and the culture around it is so near and dear to me.
